The best men and women I ever met in my life was during my service in the United States Navy. I am a surgeon, an author, and a small business owner; but the accomplishment I have in my life which gives me the greatest pride is my service to my country in the United States Navy.   

This is a short and simple answer, just as it should be. Our veterans are what allow us to enjoy the freedoms we have. It is not the politician that ensures freedom of choice, not the newspaper that allows freedom of speech, or the preacher who secures freedom of religion; it is the veteran. 

I will never vote for any cuts to veterans and will work endlessly to reclaim benefits to our veterans that congress has taken away. Plain and simple.
