AMA No Longer Relevant

Submitted by Michael Pryce on September 22, 2011

I have been asked many times on the Campaign Trail about the status of the AMA.  2 years ago, when I published my book Anathema! America's War on Medicine, I reported the AMA only represented 17% of the Physicians in America.  That was reported on Fox & Friends on Fox News Channel for the first time by Gretchen Carlson after she read my book. Since that time, the organization that is supposed to represent the nation's doctors has been under a penetrating microscope.  The latest information available says that total is now down to 11%.  The relevancy of the organization has to be questioned by everyone.

Whenever the Obama Administration is in need support from the medical profession, The AMA is right there doing his bidding even though the nation's doctors do not agree. When 89% of all the doctors reject Obama Care, how does this work?  It is very simple.  The AMA supplies Medicare and Medicaid with the computer codes for diagnoses and procedures that physicians are forced to use to get paid.  The government has manipulated these codes reducing doctors' fees to a pittance.  The hierarchy of the AMA makes multimillions selling these codes to the government, so they are not likely to give up their 7 figure salaries to stand up against the government's intrusion into medical matters for fear they will lose their huge bloated salaries.

The AAPS (Associan of American Physicians and Surgeons) and Docs4PC (Doctors for Patient Care) are addressing this with meetings behind the scenes with Congress and apparently are making some headway exposing the corruption rampant in the AMA.

Anyone who reads this blog should be made aware of the facts and reject the corrupt Obama Administration's attempt to lie to the public concerning medical matters.
