Perry Loses My Support Over Not backing 2nd Amendment Rights
Rick Perry refused to return his gun owners Presentidial Survey that would assure gun owners that their 2nd Amendment Rights would be supported under his Administration. Any Presidential Candidate that does not publically and truthfully support gun owners Second Amendment Rights will not maintain my support and I will actively campaign against them.

Thank you for being an honest candidate. The assault on the second amendment that began wit LBJ has done nothing but increas crime and make criminals out of otherwise law abiding Americans who do not beleive they need the permission of the government to keep and bear arms. Our rights come from God and exist to ensure that we can truly govern ourselves.
As Madison said,
"Were the pictures which have been drawn by the political jealousy of some among us faithful likenesses of the human character, the inference would be, that there is not sufficient virtue among men for self-government; and that nothing less than the chains of despotism can restrain them from destroying and devouring one another."
Wish I lived in Ohio so I could vote for you! Appreciate the information you make available.
Don't we all understand the importance of owning a weapon. We are responsible residents of a great country and must always be able to defend our legal rights.
I don't understand what signing any piece of paper has to do with Perry's view on Gun rights. Perry is a strong supporter of the 2nd Amendment. Signing a piece of paper doesn't prove a thing... look at his Texas record before you blast him on something as baseless as that. If you want to know the truth, try that. Also, Rick Perry has an A+ rating by the NRA, so that, by any standard is better than any silly piece of paper he must sign to get your support. Signing pledges mean nothing, records do.

Oh wow! He has an A+ rating from the NRA?!?! Well that changes everything!!
Except that it doesn't. You know who else has an A+ rating from the NRA? The governor of Montana, who just vetoed Constitutional Carry. You know who the NRA supported in the 2010 elections? 13 of Nancy Pelosi's "most protected" Democrats, along with the always-awesome Harry Reid.
Gee, that NRA rating means a lot!
Brock,
FACT: Rick Perry signed a bill that allows Texans to keep their guns and ammo in a locked car while at work...
FACT: Ricky Perry signed legislation called the Castle Doctrine... which allows me to shoot someone that enters my property that I feel poses a threat, and I wont get prosecuted for it
FACT: Texas has the leanest right to carry laws in the country... You dont have to have a permit to carry a loaded weapon in your vehicle
FACT: Perry has tried to push in the Texas legislature to allow students and faculty to carry guns on college campuses in Texas, but some spineless Republicans in our House wouldnt pass it
In FACT, Perry has signed into legislation 17 Gun bills that the NRA backed for gun rights. And Brock, so that the NRA can keep its non-profit status, they always back incumbents with a strong gun voting record, Republican or Democrat.
Learn your facts before you spout off at the mouth my friend.
RON PAUL is the only candidate that will continue to protect the SECOND AMENDMENT and protect liberty at all cost , i just simply cant understand why anyone who believes in the costitution and liberty would not fully support him. none of the other flip-flopers will #1= protect the 2nd amendment #2= protect the constitution #3= bring our troops home . if you want more of the same thing then go ahead and support the other guys, but if you want real change then vote RON PAUL 2012!!!!!
Are you still running? Been a whole lot of nothing going on with the webpage and I have heard of others with the GOP gearing up for the election. What's going on? We need a strong conservative in the ring!!!
Still in.
Awaiting notification from Secretary of State if we made the ballot. Calling today about the status. Turned signatures in Dec 7 and heard nothing yet. Videos in the making. Cutting office and surgery schedule in half. Getting interns from KSU early January. Need help with County Volunteers.
I am still here Danny. Sorry about the lull. I had to fight to get enough signatures to make the ballot. I turned in 1613 signatures to make the required 1000 for the ballot on December 7, 2011. that was not an easy task. Everywhere I went, I was dismayed at the huge numbers of Republicans who admitted to me they are registered Republicans but are dumping the Party. Headlines in the paper discuss how members of both parties are terminating their membership and becoming Independent. If you remember, I ran as an Independent last election. I learned quite a lesson about politics in Ohio. The roadblocks to candidacy as an Independent or a third party candidate are monumental. A year ago, only 15% of the registered voters had Republican Party affiliation. 22% of the voters declared themselves Democrats, but recent evidence indicates their numbers are dropping. I was contacted by one person who did fail to get the required numbers of signatures and he threw his support behind me. Once I surrendered my petitions to the Secretary of State, I started gearing up for the election. Shortly thereafter, my wife was admitted to a hospital and she has been recovering and it took a lot of my time to be around when she needed me. She is better now and I can resume my activities. Over the holidays, I have been working on position videos and soon they will be published on the web site. Thanks for your concern. I am alive and well. Please don't give up the ship because we hit some bad weather for a time. To be honest, with the holidays and the constant barrage of Presidential politics over the Republican Presidential race, there has been little interest in other elections. With 2 months to go, I expect that to change. We are getting requests to appear and the surveys are coming in daily. Thanks for your input. To win this election, I will need the Independents to step up. The Republicans had the Primary elections split for a while and I was really worried that the Independents would not show up until May. Now that the Primary is combined once again, it raises our chances. I have a big following in 2nd Amendment Supporters. In the last 2 years, I have attended 16 gun shows to show my support for the right of Ameericans to bear arms. I am one of those people who clings to my guns and my bible. I was dismayed that the only thing that the Republicans and Democrats could agree upon was the NDAA which Obbama signed into law "with reservations." That is to placate the 2nd Amendment Supporters. HHis real aim is to take over the weapons from private citizens just like the National Socialists did in Germany. In the past 2 years I never saw another candidate at a gun show. There is a lot of lip service being paid to the 2nd Amendment, but this candidate is rock solid. Once the election fever starts to rise, I will be there right with you, Danny. There are a lot of people who have nevver had the courage to place their name on a ballot, but spend a lot of time criticizing those that do. join the campaign. Help us raise the money we need to get our message out to those that still havee not heard of me. Mike Pryce
I guess checking this website everyday is a waste of time.... So sad, a politician I can see actually representing the PEOPLE, and not the institution, doesn't check his own website.
Check out more info on Doctor Pryce's medical plan here! Obama may not like what he see's.
